how can i stop muscle spasms in my legs. i have a spinal cord injury at T11?
my legs spasm alot especially wnen wheeling over rough terrain. they only stop when i put pressure on them. has anyone with similar problems have any sugggestions?
There is a chance a spinal stimulator can help you. I have a friend who has one, & depending on how it is positioned in her Back, she either gets spasms, or has relief from them. It has to do with how they connect the wires, & what they connect them to (nervewise). There are also specific drugs your doctor can place you on to reduce these spasms. I know they can be rough as I worked in a spinal cord unit. Possibly a neurologist could help, as these can be difficult to control; although not impossible!
