Lower Back Pain Injury

I got a sharp pain in my Lower Back suddenly…. is it due to old age or injury?
I am in my 30s and never felt a Back Pain like this before. It was almost like being stabbed and I couldn’t move.
I did carry some heavy stuff to throw in the trash but nothing that I haven’t done before.
you may have pulled or pinched a back muscle, put a heat pad on it
