I do it on an Inversion Table which I have in my home. I invert my body, relax completely, and let gravity go to work on my spine. This allows for full decompression and realignment. Discs and vertebrae are returned to their proper places and my spine no longer compresses and pinches nerves and muscles. It works and works well!
Those, in my opinion, are the best ways to get rid of back pain without taking drugs. Even though they require more effort than just taking a pill or two every day, the benefits you receive are far greater and you will find the effort is well worth it.
